“Volga-Volga” is a Soviet comedy directed by Grygoriy Aleksandrov, released in April 24, 1938. The feature was said to be Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin's favorite film. A group of amateur performers are on their way to Moscow to participate in the Moscow Musical Olympiad. Most of the action takes place on a steamboat travelling on the Volga River.
